This research discusses on identifying information security vulnerabilities through implementation of IT security practices extracted from multiple resource of literature review that is integrated into methodological approach of the Hierarchal Decision Model, a flexible decision-making tool. The focus of the discussion is center through the HDM that incorporates the participation of selected experts coming from technology and education sector. The expert weighting through pairwise comparison of weightings output a combine result of identifying potential vulnerabilities of information security in organization to indicate appropriate focus for strengthening information security. Eric Year: 2017 On October 23, 2015, there was a massive natural gas leak at Aliso Canyon, near Los Angeles, California. The leak lasted for nearly five months until mid-February 2016. According to the Environmental Defense Fund, during this time, 109,000 metric tons of methane were released into the atmosphere—the largest leak in U.S history [1]. Not only were people who lived nearby the Canyon faced with impacts from air pollution, but there were also economic losses. The amount of leaked methane was equal to over one billion gallons of gasoline, or over 21 million U.S dollars [2]. These economic resources were wasted within just a few months. In addition, due to the leak, there was the longer-term concern of not having enough fuel supply for natural gas-fired electric generation in Southern California until Summer 2017 since most of natural gas used in the region relied on Aliso Canyon storage. Patent analysis is one among those tools. This paper examines challenges associated with knowledge discover by using Patent Analysis commonly experience by the author. While others have researched this topic several times in the past, the author studied by observing the past researches that due to what is out there, what is the process of knowledge discovery, the impacts from using Patent Analysis and then compare what are found from the past researches with her past experience. Additionally, the author also gives some recommendations on Knowledge Discovery using Patent Analysis to her organization by using her own learning from both from class and from previous researches. One more noticeable trend is that the market is becoming more competitive, during Q4 2013 Samsung & Apple together accounted for 48% of the market, and in Q4 2014 this had slipped to 38%. In recent years Intel has been facing major obstacles and challenges as they try to gain a larger share in the smartphone processor market, currently Intel is #5 with ~3%of the market share trailing Qualcomm (~33%), MediaTek (~19%), Apple (17%) & Spreadtrum (~8%) [3]. For this paper I will conduct interviews to understand the strategy that Intel is using to gain additional market share and use Porter’s five force model to assess Intel’s stand in the smartphone marketplace and to identify areas\strategies that might help Intel gain higher market share. In this paper I attempted to analyze Intel current strategy looking at both current information and using porters five force model and I came to the following strategic recommendations. By following where these lead users come from, understanding their motivations and intent of use can help discover new products. In this paper there are two groups under the ideological umbrella of Transhumanism, “Grinders” and “Biohackers” which are fringe groups where we felt there were possible lead users. To study them, we employed the use of the Unified Theory of Adoption and Use of Technology as a framework to gain an understanding of their characteristics and motivations. By doing so, we understood them well enough to apply netnography in conjunction with lead user characteristics to identify lead users on internet forums. From our research methodology, we found lead users within these two groups and possible marketable products. Some of which include implantable technology and methods to better understand people’s nutritional needs through genome testing. Therefore, this study questions why the technological factors cannot meet consumers' expectation and how much improvements are required for these factors. For these questions, this study explored the problems which customers recognized on vacuum cleaning robots by customers’ voice analysis, and investigated current status and trends of vacuum cleaning robot technology developments. The results showed that some of technologies are not enough matured and developing actively for customers’ expectations. Through a study and evaluation of a timeline of relevant literature, this paper explores the elements that have evolved since 1995, what has caused such shifts to take place, and what the future of Netnography may look like and its implications for the product development process as a Fuzzy Front End tool. The analysis revealed that Netnography is effectively applied during Phases 1 and 2 of the Fuzzy Front End. Although Netnography may prove valuable in the opportunity identification phase, particularly given the relative ease with which it can be used to identify lead users, it is not a sufficient tool to replace conventional FFE tools. Its evolution is found to be directly related to the respective evolution of computer-mediated communications and the online infrastructure. Since 1995, Netnography has expanded to include more automated and passive applications and will continue to evolve as a tool as long as the online consumer environment and respective behaviors continue to change.
