Troon vintages were offered starting in 1993 with River Guide Red (Donna Devine, winemaker, Siskiyou vineyard), and Chardonnay (made at Bridgeview Vineyards and Winery). Dick developed Druid’s Fluid, which he describes as “red with training wheels.” Regarded as a pioneer viticulturist in the Applegate Valley, he created a course in viticulture taught at Rogue Community College by Charles Coury of Forest Grove.
