Uniting a keen knowledge of business and a passion for wine, they found the perfect vineyard site, a beautiful 126 acre farm that has been in existence in the valley for 100 years. The initial 20 acre planting of more than 15,000 grapevines began in 2002. An additional 10 acres were added to the vineyard, and the winery was completed in 2005. The 30 acre vineyard estate and winery is surrounded by magnificent vistas of Lower and Upper Table Rock and Mt. McLaughlin. The goal of Agate Ridge is to produce the highest quality wines, while using the best practices, people and technologies with an emphasis on helping to promote the prosperity and beauty of Southern Oregon.
