Valley View was founded in 1972 by Southern Oregon wine pioneer Frank Wisnovsky, a leading force in the development of the region’s wine industry. By sourcing local grapes for their wine making, Valley View helped to keep smaller vineyards and grape growers in business during early years. After Frank’s death in 1980, his wife Ann and sons Robert, Mark and Michael assumed responsibility for the vineyard and winery. Winemaker John Guerrero joined Valley View in 1985. Today, the Valley View Winery label has an international award-winning reputation, with its finest wines bottled under the Anna Maria label, in honor of Ann Wisnovsky.
