Ulrich and Steven D. Eppinger‟s book along with the Engineering and Technology Management New Product Development class materials. The product chosen was a potted plant cover, which restricts access to soil from small animals. The paper follows the format of having a chapter for each stage and contained in that chapter is a short summary: describing what the stage contains; how our team exercised the stage; results from the stage and a short list of key learning(s). The paper walks through NPD activities such as: product selection; market profiling; needs analysis; engineering constraint considerations; concept/prototype development and a rudimentary cost analysis. Finally, a conclusion is added summarizing our team‟s experiences and our project‟s high points and short-comings. Trucks and Buses Company (TBCo) management decided to change its strategic management by developing its production plant to hold the leadership position in Libya and Africa. The new company’s strategy targeted the Tripoli’s manufacture by developing the assemble lines with the last technology in this field. The change will lead the company to maintain its market share and keeping its competitive advantage in the domestic and Africa market. Before the final decision of the change, several brainstorming sessions took place to evaluate the company new strategy. In 2012, I was involved in the company’s initial decision evaluation processes as one of the consultants’ people who invited to support the company’s decision for the change. Therefore, I mainly depended in this project on my own experience in the strategic and project management, and the available information and data from my previous contribution in the company’s discussions. Also, I targeted the ETM-526/626 class material and techniques to help me evaluating the change with considering the competitive advantage requirements. Finally, I proposed some solutions and recommendations that can be useful for the company’s final proposal. The objective of this study is to evaluate the three commonly used techniques in sales forecasting for the FFE stage of new product development with the aim of examining their strengths and limitations as well as how the sales forecasting at this stage can be improved. They are Jury of Executive Opinion, Historical Trend Analysis, and ATAR Model. This study uses mixed research approaches, where both qualitative data from secondary sources and quantitative data from interviews are used in an attempt to meet the research objectives. The data collected through the interviews are statistically analysed and the findings compared with the information obtained from secondary sources to meet the research objective. The results are presented that Jury of Executive Opinion and Historical Trend Analysis are most frequently used. However these benefits come at a cost of maintaining the applications and running the data warehouse efficiently on a twenty four by seven basis. Governance is all about bringing discipline and control in place so that application developers and IT integration engineers follow certain guidelines so that the behavior of a data warehouse application becomes predictable and manageable. In this paper we have defined and explained some of the governance best practices being followed in large enterprise data warehouse of an organization. With a data warehouse governance process in place it can help in maintaining a stable data warehouse. There are two related sub-problems to selection of R&D projects: to access the evaluation of individual projects and to build a portfolio of the most promising projects among all submitted to a certain call for projects. Finally what really matters is the portfolio, which contains only the projects to be funded and amounts assigned to each project. In this article, this mechanism is addressed as a KM strategic planning model, which is inherently a process model. This model helps to build a bridge between PMBOK processes and knowledge management strategy development. The foundation of this bridge is made on two pillars. First, the spiral of knowledge introduced by Nonaka [1] and, second, PMBOK processes.
