Management of this river corridor is quite complex, owing to its unique combination of private and public land ownership, and multiple land use management designations covering portions of two states ... Specific designations have been applied to parts of the upper Klamath River that by law require special management plans be developed. The BLM's Klamath Falls Resource Area (Oregon) and the Redding Field Office (California) staff contributed to the creation of this plan, as well as the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department employees ...
