However, policy makers and technical assistance providers, such as the Workforce Development Board, as well as government agencies, also play a critical role in the region’s workforce development system. Although this report does not focus as much on the role of these agencies, further study is needed to offer suggestions for how these players can best coordinate their efforts with that of community based organizations to meet the needs of participating clients and employers.
